Welcome,

My name is Dylan (I'm sure that part is obvious). I have a Diploma in Networking & Security, and I am soon to obtain a diploma in Web & Mobile Application Development. My programming journey began in the summer of 2021, when I was looking for a career change and was recommended a Udemy course by a friend who introduced me to this industry. Completing that Udemy course was to get me familiar with programming concepts and to be prepared for September 2022, which was when I started the Web & Mobile program at NBCC.

After graduating with a diploma in Networking & Security, I worked as a Computer Technician. Later on, I was promoted to Technology Consultant within the same company. I eventually received and accepted a job offer for a Cell Phone Technician position. I did that for two years before leaving the IT field to work in a production plant that produced boxes, to try something new. Working there made me deeply consider what I wanted to do as a career, and that is what led me to programming! Every day after work, I would go through that Udemy course, and I find that I enjoy it more now than I did in the beginning.
